Beverage giant Coca-Cola China and leading theme park operator Chimelong Group reached a five-year strategic cooperation agreement on Sept 27, to further enhance tourists’ experience in the parks and properties.
Under the agreement, Coca-Cola China will provide a range of beverages to Chimelong Group’s theme parks and hotels, including sparkling water, fruit juices, teas, ready-to-drink coffee, and packaged water.
Chimelong Group, which operates six theme parks, eight hotels and three circus theaters, has seen more than 40 million visitors to its parks this year.
Coca-Cola China will leverage its network of bottling partners in the Greater Bay Area — Swire Guangdong Coca-Cola and Zhuhai Coca-Cola, to ensure the quality and efficiency of supply, the company said.
The collaboration will promote the integration of the beverage and cultural tourism sectors and reinforce both companies’ commitment to growing with the Greater Bay Area, reflecting their long-term dedication to the Chinese market, the two sides said.
