On Aug 27, the Party member service team from the State Grid Fuyang City Power Supply Company visited the Central Primary School of Zhaoji town) in Taihe county. They assisted the school’s logistics management department in inspecting and troubleshooting the school’s electrical facilities, ensuring a safe electrical-using environment for the new semester.

“The summer vacation is coming to a close, and the school has been in full lockdown for the past two months. As we’re about to commence the new semester, we kindly request you to help us conduct a ‘safety check’ on the school’s electrical circuits and equipment to eliminate any potential hazards, ensuring we can use electricity safely in the new semester. Thank you!” said Zhang Qiyun, the principal of the school.

During the summer vacation, with teachers and students absent for two months, the school’s power lines, classroom lighting, fans, audio systems, and multimedia screens remain unused for extended periods without timely maintenance. This could lead to safety hazards such as electrical leaks and circuit disruptions in the power supply lines and equipment. As the new school year approaches, the local power supply station’s Party member service team proactively liaises with school authorities to meticulously inspect the electrical systems of each school, documenting any issues for subsequent resolution. The inspection primarily focuses on the safety capabilities of the school’s power supply lines, campus transformers, distribution cabinets, as well as classroom and canteen lighting and electrical outlets, identifying potential issues such as loose connections or damaged wiring. Any identified defects are promptly addressed to ensure a safe and stable electrical supply upon the commencement of the school year.
